US Trade Regulations With Japan
With Japanese return to open markets and a new growth market growth plan, the US has once again sent "recommendations" to Japan asking for regulatory reform. The US is trying to gain stronger trade relations with Japan by asking them to "lighten" some of the regulations on Japanese trade, and the Us has actually succeeded over time in doing so. The main areas the Us is trying to guide Japanese trade in with the latest "recommendations" is technologies, telecommunications, medical devices and drugs, energy, and competition policy. In a few areas the US advises Japan to tighten and even add some regulations for example: strengthens laws on intellectual properties. While in other areas making it easier on competition such as more competitiveness on energy markets. All of these latest "recommendations" are to help Japan and America have better trade.
