gas increase

I read and analyzed an article about the price of gas increasing. Some of the facts that it states are as followed:The price of gas is increasing tremendously. In fact, in Utah gas has increased more than 7 cents a gallon. Their gas increased to $1.58. It is the largest increase seen in the Intermountain West states within a year.Intermountain West states gas prices have been increasing and decrasing for the past month. Due to the slow retun of Iraqi , The U.S. Department of Energy believes that oil price will remain high. It will remain at $30 a barrel.Gas prices increase differntly in each part of our country. For example. In Salt Lake City gas increased 8 percent to $1.56. On the other hand, in Vernal gas increased 7 cents to $1.59.Gas prices will continue to fall and drop. Maybe one the increase in gas price will all be over.

We have not yet seen the worse of gas prices; compared to some European countries we have it pretty easy. For example in some of the countries gas has gone up to as much as $5.00 a liter. I do agree gas prices are high, but i'm also sorry for those other people who have to endure those high gas prices. If it gets to bad I might go out and buy myself a hybrid.

As gas prices continue to rise, there are many ways that we as citizens can combat high prices. Such examples are car pooling, taking advantage of city transit systems, and cutting down on unnecessary travel. Until gas prices start to decline, if they do, we must treat it as a economic trend and find other means to combat it.
